GIFTING OF PRESENCE The holiday season is upon us with all the joy, love, connection and excitement it brings. However, it may also brings feelings of disconnect and disharmony as we attempt to fulfill our holiday obligations. Leave your Christmas to-do list at home and come join the 2018 Kindred Yoga 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training graduates as they offer the gift of presence through the practice of yoga. In exchange for the gift of yoga we are accepting donations on behalf of the Champion Centre , which is a non-profit, Charitable and Interdenominational Christian Organization. Since 2006, Champion Centre and its volunteers have been serving the physical and spiritual needs of hungry, homeless and lonely individuals in our community. They specialize in providing breakfast everyday, all year long, but they also provide shelter (during serving hours), clothing, showering facilities and products and their friendship. The breakfast program is supported by donations so if you cannot attend our event please consider doing an online donation to help our community and help support all the services Champion Centre offers. On Saturday December 8, each teacher will lead us through a one hour class, with a 15 minute break between each class for those who choose to come or go. We will provide snacks and sips to keep us fuelled and hydrated. Come for one or two, or we'd love to have you stay for the entire day: 9:00-10:00AM MORGAN HYAM - The Gift of Centeredness Listen to your center as you wake your body up through some sweet vinyasa flow. Find stillness and ease in exploring balancing postures. 10:15-11:15AM BRIDGET NEIGUM - The Gift of Breath This class will focus on breath as we flow and how to bring attention to our breath this time of year. Let us find the space to breathe and remind ourselves to breathe this holiday season. 11:30-12:30PM ALICIA DVORAK - The Gift of Acceptance In this class, let it be, as you allow your expectations to float away, accepting yourself and where you are at. 12:45-1:45PM MELANIE INSKO - The Gift of Peace An energetic flow class to clear our thoughts, opening us to receive and share peace. 2:00-3:00PM CHRISTINA JOHNSON - The Gift of Connection Through the use of gentle movement slow down, release, rest, and restore to create space for authentic connection. *Classes are first come, first served with a pay what you can donation. (Suggested $20 for a single class, or $50 to stay the day.) The door will be locked during class times and open for the 15 minute break in between each class.
